Meet our doctors
Dr. Matar, DDS
Dr. Matar has more than 17 years of experience in general dentistry, He is a skilled and compassionate dentist and connects well with his patients.
He completed his residency in Advanced general dentistry from. New York University Langone Dental Medicine.
After his residency program, he practiced dentistry at Harvard street health center in Boston, where he treated complex cases and supervised dental students from Harvard university.
Dr. Matar also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from Alexandria University in Egypt.
He and his wife Omnia have Two kids Ryan 6 years and Jana 5 y old and his wife is a doctor of pharmacy.
In his free time he enjoys spending it with his kids.
Dr.Williamson DDS
Dr. Williamson (“Matt”) has over 40 years of dental experience. He attended the University of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) – and graduated with a Registered Pharmacy (R.P h.) Degree.
He practiced pharmacy for seven years after that.
In 1978, Dr. Williamson Graduated from VCU as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Shortly after, he opened his dental practice as Dr. M M Williamson DDS at the Spotsylvania Courthouse. It is now known as Brilliance Dental.
In his free time, Dr. Williamson enjoys gardening and raising animals on his small farm.
Over the years, Dr. Williamson has had the pleasure of participating in a number of mission trips to Brazil, Romania, and Jamaica. He has been married to Betty Williamson since 1993, and together they have two sons, Seth and Luke Williamson, daughter-in-law Shannon, and two grandchildren.
Dr.Toor DDS
Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, Dr. Toor attended George Mason University, earning his bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on pre-dental studies. Dr. Toor earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Nebraska. After training, Dr. Toor found his way back to his roots in Northern Virginia, where he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Toor is a charismatic provider determined to deliver the highest quality of care that tailors the specific needs of all patients in the DMV area.
Dr. Toor offers many dental procedures emphasizing restorative and esthetic dentistry. He enjoys taking a pragmatic and practical approach to your oral health care needs and is passionate about educating his patients on obtaining optimal oral health. Dr. Toor is committed to staying on top of the latest developments and technological advances in dentistry through continuing education.
In his free time, Dr. Toor can be found traveling, trying new restaurants, playing basketball, or spending time with family and friends. He is quite a sports enthusiast and is an avid DC sports fan.

Ashley
Ashley Joined our team in 2021 bringing over 14 years of dental experience with her. Ashley is passionate about explaining the financial part of dentistry and finding new ways to help patients understand it and their dental insurance benefits. Prior to working as a patient coordinator, she was a certified dental assistant working both front and back. Ashley was born in Fairfax, VA, but grew up here in Spotsylvania, VA, and graduated from Massaponax High School. She currently resides in Mineral, VA, with her husband and their sweet pup, Shadow. She enjoys making people smile, being outdoors, kayaking on the river, riding her mini bike, watching UFC, and spending quality time with her better half, her puppy, and her family. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to brighten your day!

Natives of New Jersey, my husband, and I moved to Spotsylvania in 2021. The family was why we moved here, but the bonus is that Spotsylvania is such a nice place to live. It feels like home. I have over 40 years of experience in the dental field. 4 years as a dental assistant and 37 years as a dental hygienist. After all these years, I still love being a dental hygienist. Knowing the dentist is not most people’s favorite place, I try to make each visit as pleasant as possible. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and dogs and babysitting my grandson.

Betty
Betty, Dr. Williamson’s wife, worked for the office off site for 20+ years, then came on site in 2016. She enjoys talking with the patients and helping them schedule their appointments. Betty has 2 adult sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. Along with Dr. Williamson’s farm animals that keep her busy, she has 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Betty loves to garden, sew, and spend time with her family.

Chelsie
Chelsie is a Spotsylvania native and graduated from Spotsylvania High School. Her dental career began at the Spotsylvania Career and Tech Center in 2006. She quickly knew dental was her passion. Educating patients about their oral health and encouraging them to have a fun and comfortable experience brings her joy. In 2021, Chelsie graduated from the Dental Assistant II program at Germanna Community College, becoming a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She volunteers in many community dental events, including the MOM projects and Give Kids a Smile. Chelsie is a long-time member of the ADAA. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets in her spare time. She enjoys traveling and being

Cheryl
Cheryl started her dental career in February 1998. She worked as a dental assistant while pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Cheryl joined Dr Williamson‘s practice here in Spotsylvania County in January 2007. She has been pleased to continue serving her patients under Dr Matar's leadership since October 2020. Cheryl strives to provide each of her patients with a positive dental experience. She treats every patient the way she would want her family members treated. She enjoys building rapport with patients and is delighted to see their family and friends become patients. Cheryl lives with her husband, John. They have two sons, Bryce and Carson, along with several dogs and a menagerie of farm animals. They are actively involved with Spotswood Baptist Church where Cheryl assists with the children’s special-needs ministry.

Jamie grew up right here in Spotsylvania County, Graduating from Courtland High School. She started her career in dentistry as an assistant in 2003. Jamie loves working in the dentistry field because it’s never boring and she enjoys getting to know all the patients. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her 3 dogs.

Jessica
Originally from Alexandria, VA, Jessica started as a dental assistant in 1999. Her vast knowledge of the back office made the transition to the front office smooth. She quickly learned the ins and outs of dental insurance. She understands how the patient’s specific benefit plan works, which helps our patients understand their benefits and maximize the use of their benefits. When she is not at work, she loves spending all of her time with her 2 children, making memories, visiting family, or going on adventures.

Jennifer
In high school, Jennifer knew she wanted to be in either the medical field or dental field. She was able to enroll in a dental assisting program and graduated in 2021. She started with Brilliance Dental shortly after graduating, and quickly moved into a lead role. Jennifer is fluent in Spanish. Jennifer is a proud wife to Anthony. She enjoys going on hikes, going to church, and spending time with family.

Kayla
Kayla was born and raised here in Spotsylvania County, graduating from Spotsylvania High School. Kayla was introduced to dentistry by a mutual friend late in 2020. She has mastered all front desk duties in a very short amount of time. She enjoys the connections she makes with the patients, either in person or over the phone. Kayla is a proud Mom to her beautiful daughter. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her Fiancé and daughter. She is happiest outdoors, getting the chance to get on the trail by herself. She also has fun with her dogs and goats.
Dental Hygienist
Monica
I was born in Florida but later moved to Alabama, where I was raised, and moved to VA at the age of 13. I went to high school in Woodbridge and graduated from Garfield HS. I earned my Dental Hygiene degree from NVCC in 1995. I found a love for dentistry at an early age, and I loved going to see the dentist and having my teeth cleaned. My dentist and especially my hygienist were amazing and set the stage for my future. The patients are what keep me interested in dentistry. I love talking to and teaching them how to care for their mouths and hearing about their lives and families. I spend my off time with my husband, shorkey poo and german shepherd Willow and Bear, they love playing ball and long walks. We became empty nesters and have enjoyed every minute, but still love when our adult woman children come home and hang with us. We travel, check out new wineries in the old 1970 Challenger, and love to visit new restaurants. I love Yoga and would love to take up dancing lessons and golf with my husband.

Tiffany
Born and raised here in Fredericksburg, Tiffany graduated from Riverbend High School and decided to pursue a career as a dental assistant. Working in the medical field, specifically dental, has always interested her. There is always something to learn and techniques to perfect which keeps her motivated to continue in dentistry for years to come. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her younger brother, taking him to his sporting events. She also loves donating her time to children in need with her Mom in El Salvador.
